The Advisory Council for Science and Technology Policy (AWT) advises the Dutch government and parliament on policy in the areas of scientific research, technological development and innovation.

  • Workprogramme 2009-2010
    The Advisory Council for Science and Technology Policy (AWT) and the General Energy Council (AER) will operate as a combined council from 2010. The work programme proposed below is a programme for the combined council. The choice of themes in the work programme for 2010 was made in consultation with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and the Ministry of Economic Affairs. More information

  • Advice economic crisis
    The AWT has provided the Dutch government with advice on how to go about knowledge and innovation policy under the present circumstances of economic crisis. In its advisory letter, the AWT proposes the government to stick to its current policy strategies and to intensify its policies in specific areas. More information.
